Hotel is wonderful but they charge me almost 10 OMR extra while checking in, they informed me munispalty tax and tourism tax is not including and now total charges will be more.

Could be improved

Breakfast quite fair but not the best. Services in line with price paid, so fairly good. Staff knowledgeable and technicians come immediately to sort issues into the apartment. Good value for money. The shisha bar on the side is a great extra as was the Qatar World Cup and they had Screen everywhere

No the best location if you would like to visit Old Muscat with publics transport, but with private car is very good. we arrived at 8.30 pm from Abu Dhabi (500kms) and the apartment wasn't ready. So extremely disappointed as the staff that wasn't much apologetic and very lame

A'Sinamar, the Best Hotel in Muscat, Oman

Juma, the owner of A'sinamar, what a great host he is!!Very friendly, welcoming and upgraded our room for free!! He has a great sense of humour and made our stay totally enjoyable!! The hotel is so cozy and warm, felt like home away from home! Beautiful modern Arabic decor throughout the Apartments, fanatic attention to detail. Absolutely loved it and wouldn't hesitated to come back to Oman and stay at A'sinamar but would definitely rent a car this time around!

Great location, closer to the Airport but transport is a headache and a total nightmare if you don't have a rented car! Lesson learned for next time. The only reachable transportation via an App is Careem, which is not available from the Malls and other Hotels besides A'Sinamar, the mall taxis are the only option available. The mall taxis are a total rip-off and non-negotiable when it comes to price because they know it's either them or your feet to take you back to your hotel! Careem drivers are available only when they feel like working. Trying to get Careem on a Friday morning is impossible because they don't work, I do understand that it is a Holy day and they go to the Mosque, but what about the rest of the tourists that dont have rented cars??? That resulted with us missing our flight, so don't relay on Careem on Fridays, it will leave you stranded!

I booked this as it was close to the airport (8 minutes drive away) and was completely surprised by the quality, delightful staff, comfortable, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated room and lovely breakfast. Am so glad I've booked it again!

Excellent, not only compared to other accommodations in Oman but beyond.

This brand new apartment hotel exceeded my expectations. Location is near the airport and a very modern newly build area with a small marina, lots of shopping and restaurants/cafes. Room was amazing and staff was welcoming and very friendly, they also considered my requests beforehand to 100%.

Calm.

Location is in the middle of an upcomming zone. There are many hotels under construction. Dont worry. It is safe. too safe. Rent a car and enjoy your location in the middle of the city. You are near to everything. Only 15 mins driving to any tourist attraction. A shisha restaurant is near the hotel. Enjoy that. Very nice restaurant and good shisha.

Dont count on hotel breakfast. It is enough but too simple. Because not many passengers use hotel breakfast there. Simply go to a supermarket and buy for your breakfasts.

Loveliest staff ever

The lady on the night shift was extremely helpful. We checked in and she explained the currency rate to us really well. She booked us a taxi for the morning as we had a flight stopover. She organised room service for us to get something to eat and was just very helpful. The hotel was so so clean and very well decorated and well air conditioned. We loved our stay and had the best sleep ever.

The location - not the hotels fault but a taxi driver we found at the airport ruined our stay.

Second stay within a week, we liked the people and the location near Muscat, airport and main roads to either Nizwa or the coast north of airport. It is a new Hotel in e new development area. Instead of using address on GPS, use coordinates. Very friendly staff, breakfast has limited selection but offers all for a good start into the day.

Excellent start into our three weeks Oman vacation

Very friendly and helpful staff. Owner invited us for traditional coffee and dates. He offered support for our wishes and suggested possible points of interest. Hotel opened only recently and there is still construction in the neighborhood. Excellent location half way between airport and downtown areas. Suggest to use coordinates for GPS, roads are not numbered yet. Short trip to Mosque, go early in the morning (opens 8AM) to avoid crowds.

The room was huge well furnished and kitchen well equipped.

The room was huge well furnished and kitchen well equipped. It was convienient location as we had things to do on this side of the city and didn't want to mess with the traffic inside Muscat.

The place was filthy dirty. The kitchen had tons of dust, on the counter, inside the drawers. the bathroom had green stuff on the walls, honestly if I hadn't put my son to bed I would have left on the spot. I had to clean everything as I stayed there for a few days, and due to the need for this location I didn't have another choice: whoever left it like this for me they could not be trusted to clean, even if I was to ask. Shame, it could be a lovely place if they could invest in cleaning.
